Description
This session will give you all the skills you need to deliver tomahawk throwing within Scouts. It’s designed for beginners – no prior experience in tomahawk throwing is expected.
The course will take place on Sunday 8 June 2025 from 10am to 5.30pm, at 1st Stratton St Margaret Scout Hall, Taylor Crescent, Swindon, SN3 4UY.
During the day, you will spend some time learning the theory and safety requirements in running tomahawk throwing sessions, but most of the time will be spent on the range, having a go under expert supervision.
There is no formal permit required for delivering tomahawk throwing sessions within Scouts, but you can find all the details here: Tomahawk Throwing | Scouts.
The location has a hall with toilets, but be prepared to spend most of the day outdoors. Bring a packed lunch (or there’s a Co-op a 3-minute walk away).
All tickets for this course are non-refundable. However, they can be transferred to another Scout volunteer for no charge.
