As Scouts, we believe in preparing Swindon’s young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more……
Each week, we give over 460,000 young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.
We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience – skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians.
There are Scouts aged 4-25 meeting all over the area – not only throughout Swindon, but also in Wanborough, Chiseldon, Wroughton, Wootton Bassett, Brinkworth, Highworth, Blunsdon and Ashton Keynes. So whether you want to sign your child up for a space or are interested in volunteering with us, we’d love to hear from you.
We have two Scout Districts covering Swindon and the surrounding area: Swindon North and Swindon Ridgeway. Each district contains around 12 individual Scout groups.
Over recent years, the number of Scouts has grown significantly. This popularity does, unfortunately, mean that we can’t always offer a space straight away, and you may instead be placed on a joining list until we have a space for you.
